Have you considered talking to Scott Ritchie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
and/or to Stephan Hermann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>? They both have worked
on the wine package in ubuntu quite successfully AFAIS, and TBH, I don't
see a particular reason why the package should be diverged across the
two distributions.

I'm CC'ing the two in order to make them aware of this RFH bug and offer
sponsoring uploads, since the two are not DDs but UDs.
