I am using lprng + magicfilter a lot on my systems and I would like to keep them that way. I fear that I don't have enough knowledge to deal with a package that is network-aware, but I would be willing to co-maintain it, with some mentoring from you, if you could. (Actually, I'm already packaging one network-related package, rtorrent, but I need to learn more). As I am a Debian Maintainer, I can upload packages to the archive and not bother you when I have some updates.
