Hi!

Because I spoke with Torsten at debconf two weeks ago and he said it would be fine with him picking it up. Im already maintain the package on backports.org and did commit some things to the SVN already, so I wonder wether you were doing stuff in secret and not commiting them to the package's repository? If you have lost interest that's fine too, it would just be nice to know where we are standing. I don't want to "beat you to this" nor do I mind having a maintenance team. In fact I'm in contact with Konstantin who did the last NMU to the package, did get in contact with one of the upstream developers and have someone else interested in ejabberd in general to give a helping hand. So, would like to have you on board too, if you are still around, and let's get this going! So long!
