Hello Nobuhiro, I'm part of the Cairo-Dock team. For us it's a great news to know that Cairo-Dock is (finally :) ) integrated in Debian repositories !
But please, can you also integrate 'cairo-dock-plug-ins' ? This package is already on Ubuntu repositories (Universe) : https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cairo-dock-plug-ins This package cairo-dock_*.deb is simply an API with the minimum to use it (just one basic view, no desklet mode, nothing for a better integration in Gnome or XFCE and of course, no plug-in) Can you have a look there ? : https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cairo-dock/2.0.8.1-0ubuntu1 . 'Cairo-Dock' is now split in 4 parts : - cairo-dock : a meta-package in order to install cairo-dock-core and cairo-dock-plug-ins (because we receive too many bugs because some people doesn't find other views, no plug-ins, etc.) - cairo-dock-core : binary files - cairo-dock-data : common files - cairo-dock-dev : all headers (in order to compile easily 'cairo-dock-plug-ins' Moreover, we plan to release a new stable version (2.1.0) soon (tomorrow I think). We have already made a special version for Karmic (2.0.9) - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cairo-dock/+bug/435587 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/435590 . This 2.0.9 version is a 'bugs fixed version' but not the new 2.1.0. Thanks for your help and thanks again for your hard work. Matthieu Baerts.
