I'm working on 3.2.10 that will have the charset support. Do I also need to include chasen? Without chasen, mnogosearch will not understand a Japanese "word"? I'll get something uploaded soon, can you test it for me on a simple set of pages (use the builtin if you like for no db) to see it does work for your pages.
