The usual page came up, along the lines of "mail sent subscribing you to debian-devel" but several minutes later I'd received no confirmation request. I later mailed debian-devel-request directly and got an instant response, so this made me suspect that there's something up with the web form. Of course, it could just be a normal delay, but this has happened twice now. Perhaps someone could investigate....
