I am sorry to bother you but this is unfortunate case that cannot wait...
A friend of mine, Christina Lazarou, has been lying on
a hospital bed for the last two months after being
diagnosed with 'Acute Leukaemia'.
Her 'Immune System' is now almost non-existent and the
doctors have to kind of rebuild it every time for her
to be able to endure the always unavoidable 'next
Chemotherapy session'.
Now the doctors need to find a compatible 'bone
marrow' donor. It is her only hope if any...
The problem with her though is that her father and
mother have both a very rare type of bone marrow and neither is compatible.
Nor her close relatives, as in brothers and sisters, are...
The Karaiskakion clinic in Nicosia has already gone
through all of their records and up to now, no-one on
file was found compatible. It is simply too rare of a
type. The only two people kind of matching her type
are in America and Israel. But they are not compatible
enough (satisfactory level) for the doctors to under-go any kind of surgery.You see, it needs a specific percentage of compatibility,
and that was not yet achieved.
Christina is thirty-three years old with a three and a half year old son.
The request is: those of you who feel like helping,
please go to the nearest hospital and give a blood
sample for "Christina Lazarou".Then tell them to contact the Karaiskakion clinic in
Nicosia Cyprus (00357 22772700). They are on alert world-wide for this case...
Who knows, with a bit of luck, one of you might match her DNA structure and be a life saviour.
