Then the remaining 27 contrib packages for i386 are
the "real" contrib packages that the contrib tag is
all about?

If contrib (even if only 27 packages or so) is
something that is not included in the official cds or
in non-free, then I think it *should* be mentioned,
just that it should be clearer on the vendors page
than it is now.
