I actually asked what the blockers are, because the translation checks is the example that always comes, and I have not seen many others. If there is no way that the website will migrate away from CVS, it would be pointless to try to solve the problem of tranlation checks. But if there is a chance that the work is not wasted, I would be willing to have a look on how to determine how many times a page has been modified compared to its translation, using Subversion revision numbers or git commit references instead of CVS version numbers. This is why I am asking the outcome of the disucssion at the WWW sprint.
