Hi, Recently, my fiber-connection ISP moved to serve IPV6. This has made me access www.debian.org via IPV6.
Somehow, I get very slow connection occasionally. I am suspecting configuration problem on my side. (IPV6->IPV4 fall back issue?) But this problem happens only with www.debian.org and less with some page like http://www.debian.org/Bugs/ . I think things are getting better. So this may be a transition issue. I do not have this connection issue with other sites but most of them are on IPV4. So the reason I have this problem with www.debian.org occasionally is due to the fact www.debian.org serves the AAAA for DNS record. (It is OK to see it now.) I now installed a chrome plugin to check ipv4/ipv6 so I have a bit more educated view on situation. This is just FYI before 6 JUNE 2012 (WORLD IPV6 LAUNCH). http://www.worldipv6launch.org/ Osamu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-www-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
