New Groundwater Flood Risk Map report £25
Catastrophic flooding across the UK has tested the capabilities of the UK’s
flood prediction and prevention measures. Envirep’s Groundwater Flood Risk Map
Report uses sister company ESI’s pioneering map to determine actual risk of
groundwater flooding at a site, and highlights if any groundwater risk
assessment is required.

Launch of the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) Website
This month, further steps have been made to streamline the planning process
with the government’s launch of the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) website.
This builds on the introduction of the new planning courts to help speed up the
planning process.
The website aims to make the planning process simpler for both practitioners
and the public to follow so that planning applications can be submitted and
handled more efficiently.

Desk Study Reports for permitted development of agricultural buildings
The number of Desk Study reports to satisfy Local Authorities for the
redevelopment of agricultural buildings have noticeably increased. Recent
permitted development changes allow investors or owners of agricultural
buildings to change their use into a variety of commercial types without the
