To view the changelog for the latest version of a particular source package, go to http:///*packagename* (sic!) So I tried (by guessing an empty equal hostname): http://changelogs.debian.net/openssl which yielded: Error: 302 Found There was an error retrieving http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/o/openssl/openssl_1.0.1e-2+deb7u4/changelog Whereas clicking on that link loaded http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/o/openssl/openssl_1.0.1e-2+deb7u4_changelog perfectly fine.
