Hi!
The wiki assumes the user pages (or homepages) are on the top directory
of the site URL. This is problematic because it makes it more difficult
to distinguish what's a user page and what's an actual article or page
of the site, more so with user aliases or pseudonyms and similar which
present a grater change for collisions.
It would be nice if we could namespace all user pages under something
like /User:UserName in a similar way how MediaWiki for example handles
this.

This is the plan for the migration to MediaWiki. In the meantime
user pages at least have the CategoryHomepage category attached. Not
much more will happen on MoinMoin though.
