Looking after bugs filled against unknown packages
Dear Wiki Maintainers,

This is probably a limitation of MoinMoin...

It is quite difficult to make small edits to large-ish pages (e.g. the
one linked in my .sig):

1. Edit links are displayed only on the top and bottom of the page,
instead of for each section (MediaWiki).

2. Consequently one is always editing the entire page. This makes it
difficult to find the needed section and 'Preview' will reset your
position.

This can be worked around by splitting pages, though this makes search
within a page less useful.

Besides, having the 'Edit' button available next to each section is also
a nice invitation to contribute (many people are not aware that a wiki
is actually editable by users).

Having this feature would make small edits much easier.

Kind regards,
Andrei

We know there are a lot of limitations in MoinMoin; as long as the
wiki is on MoinMoin nothing will change. When the wiki migration
gets done, these problems will disappear.

Closing for now.
