Having had a look at the kernel changelog, KMS got blacklisted in 2.6.32-21, so you probably want to try 2.6.32-20 (which you can fetch from snapshot.debian.org) until a new kernel upload happens. See http://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux-2.6/news/20100825T131829Z.html for the details. Mraw, KiBi.
