Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Followup-For: Bug #622354 No, it seems that everything works fine right now.
My test case is really simple. Just installed lxde and compiz, created new user, logged him into lxde and run compiz --replace. Pretty default environment. On previous versions (when bug was submitted), some effects were laggy. I.e. when user leaves lxde, there is new window (with "log out", "shutdown", "reboot" etc.) in the center of screen, while rest fades out. Then animation looked like it was way below 24 FPS, now it certainly is above.
