when playing it, I have just tested and I could start mplayer with a blue screen and then exit it and dmesg for several times, only after letting it play for a while one of the times the mplayer window became unresponsive (pressing q wouldn't quit) and at that time the dmesg on exit showed the messages. Playing with mplayer the next time did output the: X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) message on mplayer.
