reopen 671086
thanks

Hi,

I do not understand the regression. This was possible last year.
Plus, what's the point of LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE if the software driver
cannot be installed in parallel?

At first glance I'd say that if the packages both ship conflicting
files, then they shouldn't both ship them.

Or maybe I'm just confusing the package names - how are you supposed
to have both the DRI and the software renderers installed with Mesa?
(LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 is a no-op with only -glx installed)
