Same here. Sometimes it dies at the login prompt of SDDM, sometimes shortly after. Xorg uses 100% CPU. Happens on my desktop (Intel Skylake) and my laptop (Intel Haswell) Happens with both Kernel 4.3.0 and Kernel 4.4.0 Happens with xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.99.917+git20160218-1, 2:2.99.917+git20160307-2 and without xserver-xorg-video-intel It looks like I can fix the issue by downgrading xserver-xorg-core to 2:1.18.1-1.
