Can you get a gdb backtrace when running 1.12 (after installing weston-dbgsym from the debug archive, see [1]) and file a bug report at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Wayland&component=weston Let us know the bug number once you have done it.
