FWIW: the corresponding commit in the 26.0 branch is this: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/64f8339209087af360cee91d5f132e44bce204fe So yes, it could've been closed. Maybe even better if the reporter confirms the issue has been fixed and closes the bug with the appropriate version then.
