I have copied *_drv.o from that page to /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/, restarted X, and I could still reproduce the crash. This was using xserver-xorg, not xserver-xorg-dbg (which, AFAIK, does not use loadable modules), so the gdb output was not helpful at all. The server still caught a SIGFPE.
