Cool, the discussion about this is not fully sure if we are going to do biarch
(ship both 32 and 64 bit versions of the libraries for the powerpc arch), or
multiarch (ship 32bit version for powerpc, and 64bit version for powerpc64).

I will keep you informed, but we need to wait for 6.9/7.0 anyway.

Etch already has biarch support, it just doesn't have any libraries and apps
built for 64bit yet. 

Notice that the big problem for biarch support is that you cannot run the
64bit apps on a 32bit machine during packaging, not can you run the 64bit
tests suites, if we have such stuff. Also, we have exclusively 32bit powerpc
hardware as buildd.
