Package: xserver-xorg-video-all Version: 1:7.0.11 Severity: important Just noticed that aptitude wanted to remove the s3 xorg driver, looking closer, it seems that xserver-xorg-video-all no longer depends on any of the xserver-xorg-video-* packages. A rebuild did not fix this. Looking at the rebuild log, the input-all package probably has the same problem:
dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${F:XServer-Xorg-Video-Depends} dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${F:XServer-Xorg-Input-Depends} Also: <ejka> ah. that's result of r1768 -- System Information: Debian Release: unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages xserver-xorg-video-all depends on: xserver-xorg-video-all recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
