Package: libxv1
Version: 1:1.0.1-2
Severity: important

When playing a movie, the picture stutters a lot, as if the video frames
were not displayed in the correct order (1,0,3,2,4,etc). Reverting the
libxv1 package to version 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 fixed the issue.

This is not the only package I had to revert to pre-modular version. I
also reverted libxfixes3 because Gnome applications were not starting
anymore. So maybe the video problem is a consequence of a more general
issue in the modular X libraries.

The video card is a Trident CyberBlade XPAi1.

These bugs should be fixed in the X server and drivers from X.Org 7.1
which were recently uploaded to sid. Feel free to reopen if you're still
experiencing the problem with these.
