I reinstalled debian etch but still the refresh rate of gnome login window
doesn't change
to the best vertical refresh rate. I edited xorg.conf like below:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "L204WT"
HorizSync 30.0 - 83.0
VertRefresh 60.0
Option "DPMS"
EndSection
But login screen's v sync rate is stuck at 50.
