Well, ok, but when a Debian package doesn't work after a Debian update, I rather consider it a Debian problem. One person on Debian-user has said that the Nvidia binaries work, _if_ the files are put in the new places that the xorg system wants them to be. So yes, I will wait for a new Debian nvidia-kernel-source package. I never intended to do anything else.
