There have been several xserver-xorg-core updates, including one in
the last 4 days.

When I had to rebuild the system (on a new disk) I recorded the
packages after the rebuild. I had 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-6 at that time, so
clearly in the realm of the pre-dash-7 release.

   [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -l dpkg-list-rebuilt
   -rw-r--r-- 1 korz korz 101325 2007-07-04 09:33 dpkg-list-rebuilt
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ grep xserver-xorg-core dpkg-list-rebuilt
   ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-6 X.Org X server --
core server

With daily updates of my system, it is up to -11 now. That's life on
"testing".

   [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-core
   ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-11 X.Org X server --
core server

I'll try one of my test cases after I update and reboot. Since
yesterday morning there are another 20 updates for my system,
including xserver-xorg-input-kdb, gdm and nfs-common. Some of the
libraries affect a significant number of services, so manually
restarting each with be tedious at best.
