If the bug is still there with 6.6.193-1 (in experimental), I'll forward on the upstream bugzilla so that it gets attention before driver 6.7 is released. If you're interested, you could also try the randr-1.2 branch which reworks all the monitor/output/modes detection code. I have some packages of it, let me know if you want to test them.
