We apparently have a problem with hardware cursor support (when SWCursor is not enabled), that would be a real bug, so I am not closing this. Your problem seems to be similar to the upstream bug at the URL above, so I am marking the bug as forwarded there and I will add a comment there saying that the problem still occurs with driver 2.1.3.
