No, it doesn't help. Same behaviour.
By the way, all 3 mentioned cases are seem to be with logitech mouses
(MX 310, Logitech MX Revolution and some Logitech USB mouse of K.

Looking in the upstream bugzilla, I found
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12607
which got "resolved" by changing the "in_dgamouse" setting to 0.
Do you have something like this in your games? Then I wonder if all this
could be related to bugs like #444601.
