Messages in this case would be in reference to mesg(1), write(1) and talk(1). If no shell is being invoked for the terminal, receiving messages is not desirable as there's no good way to answer the request in that particular terminal, therefor messages should be turned off automatically. -- Paul Johnson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
