And your kernel is still > 2.6.26-1-amd64 ? Any chance you try a more recent kernel with GEM support ?
I've got libdrm-intel1 from experimental (2.4.4+git+20090205+8b880361-1) and linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64 from testing. I'll give a newer kernel version a go and see if it makes a difference.
