I finally caught the bug with 2.6.32 X session using "intel" driver
I kept switching between X session and console, several times, after a while I get blackout and X gets turned off. Consoles (ctl-alt-F1..6) remain good. Not a lockup anymore, but blackout after whici gdm (I think) turns X off telling me to reconfigure. Only, my X is from xorg -configure straight so I do not know what I should do. (saving for vesa which right now is commented out) I will try newest kernel as soon as I figure out how not to irretrievably mix "testing/squeeze" and "experimental", or until newest kernel comes out of update/upgrade... I attach /boot/grub/grub.cfg, /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log with respect, hoping this will help Juha Mäkinen <juha.maki...@koti.soon.fi>
