Hi Martin-Éric (and Thorsten) As far as I can tell, at least the default *installation* does work fine (with that default configuration), so I assume this is not the default installation. Greeters should install an alternative for lightdm-greeter, and lightdm will by default start that (and the default installation usually has lightdm-gtk- greeter installed). So I'd have assumed that you didn't have the alternative currently setup, and I would have said it's because the greeter you use didn't setup the alternative correctly. Looking at the bug report it seems you are using lightdm-gtk-greeter (which should have setup the alternative), so you can you double check that?
