Hi Peter, as you surely noticed, I added (only) mate-polkit as an xfce4 Recommends. This change is targeted as a short one for Trixie but I'd be happy to revisit that for Forky early in the release cycle. If you're motivated about this, I think it would be interesting to: - - check with xfce-polkit upstream about the maintenance status, and maybe offer them your help if needed. - - make sure xfce-polkit is acknowledged by and under the Xfce project umbrella If that happens, then I think it would make sense for you to join the Xfce maintainers team and to move the xfce-polkit Debian package under the Xfce maintainers team umbrella as well.
