Hi Marty, I have to admit it might be counterintuitive/surprising to have an X11 session wrapper when running under wayland. Unfortunately I'm not sure if it is possible to select a different wrapper depending on the selected session and I'm not sure which we should call (Wayland support in Xfce is still experimental so I didn't really touch it at this point). I think the discussion should happen/involve upstream though.
