[debutant] installation de tar

Je n'arrive toujours pas à installer de softs au format tar ou tar gz, car
après avoir décompressé avec succès l'archive, lorsque je fais un
./configure ou un make ou make install, le bash me répond : command not
found !! Bref je suis bloqué ...
