According to the RFCs, it means that your DNS server is reporting a failure (such as a loss of its Internet connection). However, the RFCs don't specify how a DNS server should handle the situation where it receives a server failure from a remote DNS server, so it is possible that your DNS server is passing on the server failure messages. -Scott --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] --- This E-mail came from the Declude.JunkMail mailing list.
