Good morning Gurus,

We are experiencing a problem where if someone sends a message to 10 or more
recipients, it only sends 5, and the remainder never get queued or sent. In
the View Queue tab, it never increments the number of time delivery was
attempted. And never again hits the smd file in the logs. There are no
errors in relation to the messages and yesterday we only generated 12 10054
errors.

The only way I can get them to clear is to repeatedly select the message and
hit 'send one' and it will eventually get all the way through the darned
things.

There is NOTHING else in the queue, everything with less than 10 recips goes
right out. I have tried sending the gateway 1000 emails at a time directly
and it didn't flinch. Send 10 through Imail and 5 never get sent.

Btw, This is on a Win2K machine with lots of ram and drive space, using
Imail 8.04, Declude 1.76 as the delivery application. It acts the same way
using Imail's smtpd.

I checked the faqs and all the queue problems relate to a build up, that is
not what this is. I tried to get help from ipswitch, I called, they called
me back (next day) They wanted logs and configs and all manner of stuff, I
responded in kind, waited a day, followed up the email the next day and the
next, then called and NEVER got a response back. They were however kind
enough to have sent a lovely little "How was our technical support survey"
Which I was more than happy to fill out.

I'm pretty sure I have discovered the true nature of gravity: it is fueled
by Imail's tech support.
