The reason WHITELIST AUTH only works with Imail 8 and above is because Imail
adds a line in the Q file in version 8 and above indicating the sender
authenticated to Imail.

Correction, Outlook 2003 clients are affected by this. I do not remember any
one mentioning earlier Outlook clients being affected.
