One thing to keep in mind is that the filter only worked on the SC list.  By
moving to the DNS based method you can take advantage of the other lists.
The other lists encompass everything from Phishing data to other
contributers URI data.  The following link talks about the other lists and
what data is contained in them http://www.surbl.org/lists.html.  As an FYI
the one list "WS" tends to catch a lot of grey content.

Also, by using the DNS based method your querying the list in realtime
instead of against data that is downloaded on a time basis.  You should see
even better results through this manner.
