We are also runing about 5k per day but we do not have any issues at all
with declude and have not restarted our server, (except for MS updates), for
any imail/declude related issues.

We are runnning IMail 8.20 and Declude 2.0.5.51
We also gateway all our mail and IMail sends all outgoing messages to our
gateway for final delivery.
We are using BIND on our gateway servers for DNS

IMOP when running third party applications with a product, you always take a
chance of not being able to upgrade to the latest version of the product
until the third party product updates to function properly with the new
version.

For thoes complaining, did you ever consider the service solution may be the
best way for declude to support Imail 8.2 and still maintain
backward/forward compatibility.
