I'm not going for an SRS implementation, but a simple method of performing server-side envelope sender address rewriting. The implementation is not intended for use by dedicated forwarders, who must by necessity assume the pass-through of both messages and DSNs. Rather, it is intended for mailbox providers to pre-fetch IMail account- and mailbox-level forwards and rewrite accordingly. Things will break: bounces of forwarded mail will not be returned to the original sender, and this breakage is by design. But SPF 1.0 checks will pass, which is the matter under discussion. --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release/ Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/download/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/release/ --- This E-mail came from the Declude.JunkMail mailing list.
