Hi,

I thought this group would like to know that the new Imail Domain Forwarding
will support Declude.

Best Regards,
Andy

Andy,

The Domain Forwarding rules kick in just as the message is being sent. All
processing before that point will continue to function including any
plug-ins that are configured.

Tom,

If I may ask:

Will the forwarding invoke the third party SMTP plug-in (like Declude) or
will it happen BEFORE those are run?

Either way, it may be important to cover that answer in the release
notes/manual.

Best Regards,
Andy

Andy,

Thanks for the feature request. I'm looking into that this morning and will
let you know when it will be available.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom:

Wow, finally a NEW feature in SMTP. There is still hope for IMail <g>.

To make this "domain routing" feature extra useful, it would be great if
domain forwarding allowed specifying an IP / Port combination, like IIS SMTP
does (in case the recipient server is configured not to answer on port 25).

Best Regards,
Andy

The Technical Preview 3 is ready for download.

What's changed since Technical Preview 2:

- Domain Forwarding - Located in the SMTP Service settings page in the Web
Admin, Domain Forwarding will allow messages to particular domains to be
forwarded to another IP Address.
