If i were you on such a low power box, I would download 1.27 beta and let it
do the prescan to save resources. I send out a mailall to 13000 addresses on
my dual PIII850MHz box with 512MB RAM and it kills it with virus scanning
enabled. Disabled, it hardly touches it.

OK, I think I found out what was wrong
you have to stop and restart the netshieldd service for the exclusions to
take effect
seems strange, but now it is working
still pop3 is much slower, does netshield monitor the memory swap file ? can
this be the problem ?
guess I need a new server with 2x1GHz cpus !!!
