The main concern is making sure that an on-access scanner (one running in the background that constantly scans files as they are saved to the hard drive) doesn't interfere with Declude. There are several ways it can interfere: It can lock the file (in which case Declude can't access it), or it could delete viruses (in which case the command-line scanner that Declude uses won't see a virus, and will report it is virus-free, so Declude will deliver the E-mail...). If you do have an on-access scanner running, you can set it up not to scan the subdirectories off of \IMail\spool, and it won't be able to conflict with Declude. As far as the command line scanners go (the piece that Declude uses), they won't conflict with each other. Declude will take care of calling them as needed. -Scott --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] This E-mail came from the Declude.Virus mailing list.
