Scott, I started to draft an email yesterday asking for this, but I figured I was probably the only one who wanted it. For example, the folks I work for are in favor of allowing exe's in zips, but not as regular attachments. However, they are not opposed to blocking pif's, scr's, etc in zip files as well as directly attached. The only way this can be done is to have separate lists for attachments for zips, etc.

Thanks for the aid, We thought about that, but were guessing it would not be commonly used -- and the hassle of maintaining 3 sets of banned file extensions would be very unwieldy (since you would need BANEXT, BANZIPEXT, and BANEZIPEXT). However, at least one other person has already suggested this would be a good idea, so we may incorporate it. -Scott --- Declude JunkMail: The advanced anti-spam solution for IMail mailservers since 2000.
