You can use any virus scanner with real-time protection as long as you exclude your IMail directory and also your spool and user directories if they are located outside of your IMail directory. I believe that F-Prot can be configured to do this for you, though there are other server-class virus scanners with better management features such as Symantec. It all depends on your exact goals.

Hi list,
I have the following problem:

From time to time I got
virusses on my eMail-Server's HD (IMail, 6.06).
We have Declude and F-Prot 5.42 running on
a Win 2000 Server.
F-Prot's real-time protection is as recommended inactive.
What can I do to protect the whole eMail-Server (file-system)
from getting virusses ?
To scan the engine with another virus-scanner in
a periodic way ?

Uwe
