When running: $ apt-get -s install wine
It prints: Updating package status cache...done Checking system integrity...ok The following extra packages will be installed: libwine0.0.971116 mesag3 libncurses4 The following NEW packages will be installed: mesag3 libncurses4 2 packages upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 219 not upgraded. Inst libncurses4 Inst mesag3 Inst wine [] Inst libwine0.0.971116 Conf libncurses4 Conf mesag3 Conf libwine0.0.971116 Conf wine Please consider adding version numbers and archive locations to the above list. This would help identifying if the user really wants the upgrade (as in keeping certain packages frozen only, but loading unstable for others). Also as to the above, it also would be beneficial to be able to specify which archives to check when providing version numbers (again to keep a certain package frozen, although unstable version is already available).
